Partners for Progressive Israel is seeking applications from outstanding students, activists and writers for a scholarship to attend its annual Israel Symposium!

The trip will take place from November 8 – November 15, 2014. Apply today!

The recipient will receive room and board with a roommate in a 4-star hotel in Tel Aviv for 7 nights, the duration of the trip. The grantee will receive airfare up to $1200, as well as transfers from and to Ben Gurion Airport and transportation to and from meetings in Israel and the West Bank. 
Requirements:
In return for this trip to Israel, the recipient is asked to fulfill the following requirements

Maintain log/journal during the Symposium
Make a presentation to the Board of Directors of Partners for Progressive Israel upon return
Contribute to the work of Partners for Progressive Israel upon return

    YES, i LOVED that book! i agree some of it was a bit repetitive but it really was good. i’d read “well trained mind” previously so i already kinda had an idea about some of those things, but he offered such a different angle! and so much insight into the state of our country etc. i loved his point about how teachers can inspire, but not educate, that students can only educate thesvelsem. and yes monica does have a blog! it’s linked off kristen borland’s (i still need to add it here!)

    Sauf prix moins élévé ce LG n’a aucun intéret (résolution inférieure, mémoire interne de seulement 8Go, sans parler de l’absence de stylet pourtant redoutable sur le note).

    Hi Hal – I’d completely forgotten to follow your blog until just this morning. Nice to find it again! This section – Castlegar to Christina Lake – was probably my favourite TCT section of all (though there were some very close seconds). Too bad about the trail conditions. You’re right that it won’t be a usable bike trail for much longer.
